This project was a special one - an online community for people, young and old, suffering from a rare metabolic disorder. The website serves as a comprehensive patient database for those running the service, as well a portal for news and events information and a place where patients can redeem reward points. The interface had to be easy to use for children and adults, friendly and approachable. Feedback from all involved: nurses and medical staff, the service administrator and the patients has all been positive.
